CHIKO provides custom digital services, including web development, programming, graphic design, image editing and video editing. Because each project is produced according to an individually agreed scope and reserves production time, refund eligibility depends on the stage of the work and the circumstances of the request.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to payments for CHIKO digital services, including payments made through PayPal as Goods and Services. The agreed project description, quotation, invoice, written instructions and delivery records may be used to determine the scope of work and the status of a refund request.
Cancellation before work begins
If a client cancels before production has started, the payment will generally be eligible for a full refund. Any non-recoverable third-party expense already purchased specifically for the project may be deducted only when it was clearly disclosed and approved by the client in advance, subject to applicable law and PayPal rules.
Cancellation after work begins
Once work has started, CHIKO will review the amount of work already completed, approved third-party expenses and any deliverables already supplied. The portion covering completed work and approved costs is generally non-refundable. Where appropriate, a partial refund may be issued for the part of the agreed service that has not yet been performed.
Completed or approved work
Payments for completed, delivered and approved work are generally non-refundable. This does not limit any rights available under applicable law or PayPal Buyer Protection.
If the deliverables have not been received or materially differ from the agreed project scope, the client should contact CHIKO at chikouplata@gmail.com. CHIKO will review the request and, where appropriate, correct the work, complete the agreed delivery, or issue a full or partial refund based on the circumstances.
Revisions and technical issues
Minor issues or revision requests within the confirmed project scope should first be reported to CHIKO so there is a reasonable opportunity to correct them. A preference change, a new instruction or a request outside the agreed scope does not by itself mean that the original service was not delivered as described and may require a separate quotation.
Digital delivery
All services and deliverables are supplied digitally by email, download link, file transfer, website publication or account access. CHIKO does not sell or ship physical goods through this website. Delivery records may include emails, messages, transfer confirmations, access records, published work, revision history and written client approval.
Requesting a refund review
To request a review, email chikouplata@gmail.com and include the client name, PayPal transaction ID or invoice reference, project description, payment date and reason for the request. Each request is reviewed individually against the agreed project scope, delivery records and the amount of work already completed.
PayPal payments and disputes
Payments made through PayPal are also subject to PayPal’s applicable terms, Buyer Protection rules and dispute procedures. Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or restricts any rights that a buyer may have under PayPal Buyer Protection or applicable law.
Before opening a dispute, clients are encouraged to contact CHIKO so the project records can be reviewed and the issue can be addressed directly. This does not prevent a client from using the PayPal Resolution Center. If PayPal opens a claim, CHIKO will provide the requested transaction, communication and delivery information and will comply with PayPal’s final decision.
Approved refunds
Any approved refund will be returned through the original payment method. Processing time after a refund is issued may depend on PayPal, the client’s bank or card issuer. A refund may be full or partial depending on the project status, the work delivered and the reason for the request.
Mandatory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under relevant law. If a provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal right or an applicable PayPal protection decision, that mandatory right or decision will apply to the extent of the conflict.
